Legal aid services are available over the phone throughout BC. You can apply for legal aid by calling any location or by calling our Call Centre. In-person services are available at some locations around the province. Please call first to see if this is available. See the Legal aid locations section below for phone numbers and locations.

For the Vancouver office, Legal Aid BC encourages in-person services by appointment. Call Vancouver Intake at 604-408-2172 to make an appointment.

Parents Legal Centres are open for both phone and in-person services. Some of our community partners may also offer both options ― please call them to check first.

If you have to call long distance to reach a legal aid location, you can phone Service BC and ask them to put your call through for free.

Remember that if you are using a cell phone, the length of the call may still affect your phone bill.
